Stuart Boardley has called on his Felixstowe and Walton United team to bounce back in a season definer at home tomorrow after a 3-1 defeat at Bury Town saw them drop out of the play off places.

The Seasiders take on big rivals Stowmarket Town at the AGL Arena tomorrow (Easter Monday) with a 3pm kick off and a big chance to get back into the top five.

Stowmarket lost to fellow play-off contenders Heybridge Swifts and Boardley sees tomorrow's crucial clash against them as a potential top five decider.

Seasiders boss Boardley told the club website: "It is safe to say our game against Stowmarket will define our season, that is how big a game it is.

"We need to turn up quite frankly because this was not good enough for all the people that travelled to support us, and in our own dressing room"

Felixstowe will need to improve if they are to win after slipping up at Ram Meadow,

Zak Brown gave the Seasiders the lead at Bury before Joe White struck twice with a goal in each half and Max Maughn wrapped up the points for Bury Town seven minutes from time.

Boardley bemoaned his side's poor defending and lack of initiative after the defeat.

He said: "We never had a spell of possession or pressure or anything. For a long period of the game I felt it was going to peter out for draw but for a couple of disappointing goals from our perspective.

"if you defend like that you are going to struggle no matter who you are."

Milo Grimes and Brown both went off injured and will be assessed on the morning of the game, while Ollie Canfer will miss out as he follows the concussion protocol after a head injury suffered at Basildon.
