Felixstowe & Walton United kept their place in the Isthmian North Premier Division play offs with a hard fought 3-1 win at Basildon.

Josh Hitter put the Seasiders ahead in the first half but Basildon hit back through Tye Jude in the second.

But Stuart Boardley's side showed their unity and class with goals from Leon Ottley-Gooch and Billy Holland securing the victory.

Felixstowe stay fifth, with a game in hand over fourth-placed Stowmarket who are a point ahead.

The Seasiders go to Bury Town on Saturday. Bury have decided Alex Rossis and his existing coaching team will be in charge until the end of the season.
