A stunning 95th minute finish from Zak Brown crowned a wonderful return to the top five for Felixstowe.

After four attempts to get the game on at the rain sodden AGL Arena, the 3-1 win over play-off rivals was a huge relief and confidence booster.

Stuart Boardley's side went ahead against a Stowmarket side packed with former Ipswich Town players, through Billy Holland.

Jack Wilkinson levelled for Town in front of a 403 strong crowd but Leon Ottley-Gooch put Seasiders back on top.

With time draining away Zak Brown refused to take the easy option and head for the corner flag and instead hit a spectacular 25-yarder to secure victory in style.

The win takes Felixstowe above Stowmarket into sixth place, a point behind Grays Athletic and three behind Heybridge Swifts but have a game in hand over both in the Isthmian North Premier Division.

Seasiders go to Witham on Saturday, before homes games against East Thurrock on Tuesday, then wrap up their regular season campaign against another play off rivals Heybridge Swifts the following Saturday.
