Another late Callum Harrison goal, and outstanding saves from debut-making on-loan Ipswich Town keeper Charlie Binns, secured a point for Felixstowe at New Salamis.

Stuart Boardley's Seasiders stay second, just three points behind leaders Lowestoft, but possible more important, a healthy seven points clear in the play-off places.

Harrison snatched his 15th goal of the campaign five minutes from times as Felixstowe finally found a way through the solid Salamis' back line, on their 3G pitch just down the road from Tottenham Hotspurs' White Hart Lane ground..

Binns, who joined Felixstowe when Callum Robinson unexpectedly quit the club, made a couple of noteworthy stops before pulling off a cracker to deny Ronan Ismaili in the final minute.

There wasn't much he could do to prevent Wraynel Hercules' opener three minutes after the break when he was allowed too much time and space to cut in from the right and shoot across goal.

Felixstowe had a Zak Brown effort disallowed for offside and felt they could have had at least one penalty.

Felixstowe entertain Maldon & Tiptree United at the AGL Arena next Saturday (16 December).
