Seasiders boss Stuart Boardley hailed forearm Arbroath striker Sam Ford whose 93rd minute winner over Wroxham cemented Felixstowe fourth-place in the Isthmian Premier North division.

He said; "Sam is good finisher and took his goal well."

Skipper Billy Holland equalised for Felixstowe at the AGL Arena, after Ryan Curtis put the Yachtsmen ahead on 12 minutes.

Boardley felt the Seasiders were well worthy of the win, especially with their first half performance.

He said on Twitter: "On the balance of play we deserved it. It was a pleasing win.

"The message at half time was; be patient, keep doing the right things, keep moving the ball and the chances will come, not as many as we would have liked but it came.

"It was testament to the players' character they kept going and we got the goal we deserved."

Boardley is hoping to bring in a new player during this week before the Seasiders go to New Salamis.
