Josh Hitter epitomised the Seasiders' rich vein of form as he grabbed both goals in victory at Maldon and Tiptree United.

Hitter has hit five goals in a week, 13 for the season as the Seasiders continue to cement their play-off chances in the Isthmian Premier North.

The in form striker equalised against the Jammers after they took a 33rd minute lead through Michael Finneran.

Hitter then grabbed the winner, also in the second half and also hit a post in the first half.

The former Leiston striker has put his hot streak down to an increased level of fitness and 'getting the right areas and then taking the chances when they come.'

One sad note was a serious looking knee injury to George Clarke towards the end of the game and he was taken to hospital.

Stuart Boardley's high-flyers entertain Wroxham at the AGL next Saturday, with supporters encouraged to stay after the game to take part in a Fans Forum.
