Every Thursday we collate all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

On Sunday from 3pm, the Dorian Singers will be performing some of the well-known choruses from Handel's "Messiah" and a selection from Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols". 

The programme will also include some popular carols for the choir as well as well-known carols for the audience to join in and sing with us.

Tickets cost £12 (under 18's £3) including seasonal refreshments and are available from The Card Centre, 6 Hamilton Road, Felixstowe IP11 7AU (01394 283170), from choir members, or at the door.

Marking the 60th anniversary of her death, Dreamcast Productions bring you 'Non, Je ne Regrette Rien' – The Life and Music of Edith Piaf, a show and biographical revue celebrating the music and life of one of France's greatest stars.

Starting on Friday, December 1, Father Christmas is at Fields as its festive team is looking to make this year bigger and better than last, by extending its trail, more lights, more crafts and starting earlier in the day to avoid those chilly evenings!

Friday night is the guaranteed tasty Thali night at The Red Lion in Chelmondiston, in addition to its usual menu.
