Felixstowe Carnival is coming soon!

It's a family-friendly weekend with free music and entertainment for everyone.

The fun starts on Friday, 26 July with a Swing Machine concert starting at 7pm in the Beachside Events Area next to the Leisure Centre.

On Saturday 27th there will be a procession along Beatrice Avenue, then down Hamilton Road, Orwell Road, Garrison Lane and Sea Road.

The theme this year is Lights, Camera, Action! so expect to see many films, musicals, adverts and music videos represented.

From 12 to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday there will be music and entertainment in the Events Area, plus a family entertainment marquee for younger ones.

There will also be traders along the prom and a craft fair inside the Leisure Centre, plus fairground rides next to the pier.

Weather permitting, the carnival will finish in style with a spectacular fireworks display on the seafront at 10pm on Sunday.
