Building firm Taylor Wimpey has written to more than 100 Trimley residents advising them that they have revised their plans for a sustainable drainage system.

The new drainage system will serve the 70 new homes, which have permission to be built on land opposite the Hand in Hand pub, south of Trimley St Martin High Road.

Permission was given for the development in March 2018, despite more than 100 objections, but can not move ahead until a number of pre-commencement conditions are met, and the drainage system is one.

After discussions with Suffolk County Council officers and Anglian Water, Taylor Wimpey are now confident they can satisfy that condition but have written to residents close to the site to inform them of the application.

The application can be found on the East Suffolk Council website, reference number DC/20/2892/VOC.
