Police investigate Ukraine donations theft from car in Trimley

Police are today searching for two people suspected of stealing cash earmarked for people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

An envelope containing cash donations was stolen from a car in Cordys Lane, Trimley St Mary, between 5pm Tuesday March 8 and 8am Wednesday March 9, police have confirmed.

A neighbour's camera has picked up two men, one with a bike, near the victim's car and police are investigating this line of enquiry.

Anyone with information can contact Suffolk police on 101, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
