UPDATED: Not as bad as first feared...

Police today treating an early morning incident in Felixstowe town centre as a possible murder have confirmed it was a false alarm.

Officers sealed off an area of an estate agent's car park in the town centre between St Andrews Road and Hamilton Road following an incident at around 5am this morning.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary confirmed officers had been called to an incident in a parking area off St Andrews Road at around 5am this morning, but declined to give further details.
