Every Thursday we collate all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

The wonderfully acclaimed Dorian Singers are performing at an Easter Concert with proceeds going to Prostrate Cance charity.

The choir will be singing several pieces that are new to them including The Magnificat by Pergolesi and The Procession of Palms by Malcom Williamson, an Australian composer, who became Master of the Queen's Music in 1975 until his death in 2003.

They shall also be performing The Five Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams. Alan Loader, our previous musical director, will be singing the solo in this very popular work.

The Dorian Singers willl also be joined by organist Dr Mark Blatchly and by pianist Marina Korneva.

Arguably Felixstowe's leading venue, the Two Sisters Arts centre in Trimley will be hosting a couple of outstanding acts over the ext week.

Tim Ainslie and the Vibes will be showcasing his original material and dynamic guitar playing on Friday night.

There is an exciting double header on Monday and Wednesday at Two Sisters with Suzanne Hawkes showing how with two writers - two imaginations - anything could happen.

Further afield, Friday night is the guaranteed tasty Thali night at The Red Lion in Chelmondiston, in addition to its usual menu.

The Red Lion serves all the pub classics along with interesting dishes created around seasonal ingredients and local produce as much as possible.

Children and dog friendly, there is also have a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint or two.
