Our Easter concert is on Saturday 23rd March at 7.00pm (please note the earlier starting time) and will be in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

The choir will be singing several pieces that are new to them including The Magnificat by Pergolesi and The Procession of Palms by Malcom Williamson, an Australian composer, who became Master of the Queen's Music in 1975 until his death in 2003. We shall also be performing The Five Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams. Alan Loader, our previous musical director, will be singing the solo in this very popular work. We shall also be joined by organist Dr Mark Blatchly and by pianist Marina Korneva.

There will also be shorter popular pieces interspersing the major works of this concert.
