Felixstowe man alleged to have assaulted woman given Crown Court date

A Felixstowe man accused of using coercive behaviour and attempting to suffocate a woman has been told he will appear before a judge at Ipswich Crown Court in October.

Jordon Wilson of Buregate Road, Felixstowe., appeared at Ipswich Crown Court via video link on Friday for a plea and trial preparation hearing for offences dating back to March this year.

Wilson has pleaded not guilty to two offences of assault causing actual bodily harm, assault by beating, making a threat to kill, intentional suffocation, destroying property and using coercive or controlling behaviour.

His trial, which is expected to last three days, will take place during a two-week warned list commencing October 23.

A further hearing will take place on October 2.
