As more businesses start coming out of enforced hibernation, there is one group that is ready to bounce back with a vengeance.

Dynamic duo Lauren Ashworth and Detelina Zaharieva who run ((BOUNCE)) mini-trampolining classes in their Felixstowe studios and the community hall in Walton, are aiming to be ready to go again in early July.

It is not just the financial hit that has hurt the pair, but that burning desire to enjoy the fitness sessions with their enthusiastic participants.

"The lockdown has had a huge impact on us," Lauren told Nub News. "Not only have we not been able to earn from our business, but we really miss our ((BOUNCE)) army. Every single attendee, we miss their energy, their enthusiasm, their smiles, their faces when we push them hard."

Lena added: "Our classes are very friendly, there is no judgement, no expectation. Just a bunch of people who have a great time , support each other and have so much fun getting fit."

((BOUNCE)) is a high intensity interval training class, performed on a mini trampoline, to some really exciting music. It is suitable for all ages, levels and abilities, 87% less impact than floor based exercises, which the instructors claim is three times more effective as 10 minutes of ((BOUNCE)) is equivalent to 30 min of running.

Lauren said: "Bounce is extremely beneficial for strengthening of the core and for weight loss. Most people achieve great results within two months."

The pair, who first met doing ((Bounce)) classes at Brackenbury Sports centre in February 2017 instantly bounced off each other and became such good friends and provided so much energy and banter together they were dubbed the 'double act' and 'double trouble' by fellow class-goers.

"We both started with one class per week and ended up doing four every week," said Lauren. "It was life changing as we both decided to train as instructors within a month of each other. This how our friendship began."

Lena added: "We supported each other on our journey as trainees and once we qualified we started teaching together as a team. We grew closer as friends and the banter in class was so good he attendees loved it and started calling us the "double act" and 'double trouble'.

"We then had the opportunity to take over the franchise in Felixstwoe in December 2019 . We had already opened another studio In Woodbridge and had started building an amazing team there too. But Felixstowe is where it all started for us and it only felt right to make it our own.

"We would like to thank every single person who has been to our classes for their support. Especially during these difficult times our attendees have amazing, taking part in online classes , keeping their bookings with us for when we return."

The duo have been keeping active during lockdown and recently completed a trampoline marathon by attending five online ((BOUNCE)) classes in one day alongside all the franchisees, our HQ in Harlow and the CEO of ((BOUNCE)), Kimberlee Perry.

"The event raised £50,289 for the NHS Charities Together and Lauren said: "We would like to say a.massive thank you to every single attendee that was part of it. We are so very proud to represent ((BOUNCE)).

"We now hope to return to our studios in Felixstowe, Walton Community Hall sometime in July , providing the government guidance and our HQ advise it is safe to do so. We cannot wait for the beat to drop."
