Gorleston 1, Felixstowe and Walton United 0
UNITED'S hopes of a moral-boosting east coast derby win were dashed in Saturday's clash at the Wellesley Recreation Ground and they have slipped from second to fourth.
Though a play-off place is secured, with just one win in the previous four these are unnerving times for Seasiders supporters.
United didn't have the best of starts, as the Greens were ahead after four minutes, Ryan Curtis with the opener - but the Seasiders had hope as the hosts' George Keys saw red seven minutes into the second half after picking up his second caution.
However, the extra man didn't pay dividends and the Greens held on for victory, despite the visitors throwing the fresh legs of three substitutes into the fray in the last half hour in a bid to grab an equaliser.
Felixstowe are next in action in their final regular league season clash at home to New Salamis on Saturday (27 April).
For the visitors it will be the last in a brief spell at Step Four football as the London-based club has announced it will be folding its senior side becasue of financial issues.
