Live music is back this summer, and Coldplace are making an extremely welcome return to the big stage at The Spa Pavillion in Felixstowe on Saturday 17th July, after nearly 18 months away from the bright lights, and they truly cannot wait.

"Lockdown has brought many to challenges to many people over the last 18 months, in so many different ways," says Shane Croft, lead singer of Coldplace. "We have all learnt a lot about ourselves and our lives, and we have also lost loved ones and friends along the way and gained friends too. I think everyone has a different story to tell about their lives over the last year and their reality.

However, while the supporters and players have won a vital battle, the war is likely to rage for some time with money talking and even in the face of fans fury, it is likely more clubs will not be able to resist the lure of a super league in the near future.

Marquee did not comply

Businesses in Felixstowe and other parts of East Suffolk are being reminded that they must continue to adhere to the guidance set out by the Government after the owner of a bar was issued with a £1,000 fixed penalty for breaching Covid-19 restrictions.

As part of the Government's four-step roadmap, businesses in the hospitality sector were able to reopen on 12 April under the current restrictions, which are expected to remain in place until 17 May at the earliest.
