Stuart Boardley described Felixstowe & Walton's 2-0 win over Walthamtow as 'a fantastic performance'.

Sam Ford and Josh Hitter netted the goals, one in each half, at the AGL Arena in front of 371 to take their winning run to four in the Isthmian League North Division.

Four consecutive clean sheets from Josh Blunkell has played a huge part of that since his signing from ??? in January.

"The work we did during the week paid off Walthamstow are a good side, very athletic and good going forward so it was always going to take a good performance to get three points and our performance was outstanding," said Boardley.

"Blunks (Josh Blunkell) has made two fantastic saves from breakaways and without him we might go in 2-1 down at half time.

"He has been fantastic since he came in and to get four clean sheets in a row is fanatic for him and for the team."

But it was the all round team display that delighted Boardley.

Seasiders travel to struggling Brightlingsea Regent on Tuesday, then Wroxham on Saturday, before returning to Dellwood Avenue on February 24 against Grays.
