A Felixstowe man will stand trial next year after allegedly selling stolen clothing on eBay.

Daniel Lane, of Wesel Avenue, Felixstowe, went online to sell clothes, which had been stolen during a burglary at a menswear shop in Hadleigh last year.

Felixstowe nursery will be allowed to open next week after St John Ambulance agreed to allow them to continue using their hall.

There were fears the nursery would not be able to open as planned on September 3 as St John Ambulance were looking to see the building in Ataka Road.

Suffolk County Council have made preparations to ensure that all pupils who are eligible for SCC funded school travel are transported to school safely for the start of term. SCC transports approx. 12,000 pupils which is approx. 12% of the school population.

On the 11 August 2020 the Department for Education published official guidance on the measures that need to be in place to ensure that school transport is covid-19 safe. SCC have been working closely with bus operators and schools to put these into place.

A Felixstowe man who legged it from police after being pulled over for suspected drunk driving has finally appeared in court.

Ionel Gisca took off after being stopped by police not far from his Rendlesham Road home and asked to supply a breath sample. Police caught him but he refused twice more to blow into the breathalyser.
