Minister for Media and Data John Whittingdale has praised Nub News for showing there is still a demand for community-focussed local journalism.

The MP's endorsement follows the expansion of Nub News into 62 towns across the UK in recent months, including the launch of Felixstowe Nub News in April last year.

Audrey Ludwig Suffolk Law Centre

Suffolk's highly-acclaimed legal advice centre has announced the establishment of a new service aimed at assisting elderly residents and their families to access the right support, including those in Felixstowe and the surrounding villages.

Based in St Matthews' Street, Ipswich and co-located with its sister organisation, Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality, the Suffolk Law Centre (SLC) was established in April 2018 after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
