One of the world's largest container ships today slipped her moorings and was guided out of the Port of Felixstowe by tug boats and pilot.

The Ever Arm,  part of the Evergreen fleet of A class ships, departed from the Port of Felixstowe this morning on her way to Rotterdam.

With a length equivalent to four football pitches and a width of 62 metres, the container ship was finished being built in South Korea in March this year and sails under the flag of Taiwan. Her carrying capacity is 23992 TEU and her current draught is reported to be 12.4 meters.
