For those pondering on what to do this bank holiday weekend, this is a go-to guide on what's on in the Felixstowe area.

Shrek the Musical:

Covering both Saturday and Sunday, Spa Pavilion Productions in Association with Suzie Lowe is delighted to bring you the smash hit musical based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film

Show times this weekend are:

Saturday 28 August 2021, 2:30pm and 7:30pm

Sunday 29 August 2021, 3pm

142 Exhibition – Lora Pattinson:

On exhibition at 142 Gallery is the art of Lora Pattinson. This exhibit explores the eerie and the narratives surrounding the Suffolk coast through architecture and film.

Open this weekend, and up until September 2, 10am – 4pm

Record fair:

Saturday sees the final day of the record fair at Trinity Methodist Church Hall. With a range of stalls selling new and second hand vinyl and CDs, there are a good mix of bargains and collectibles.

Open from 9am – 4pm with an admission of 50p going towards the Carers First charity

Music on the Green:

Sunday sees the return of Music on the Green at Trimley Sports and Social Club. With seven bands throughout the day as well as fish and chips, pizza, and drinks at the bar, the only thing you'll need to worry about is the weather.

Bank Holiday Family Fun Day and Craft Fair:

Bank holiday Monday sees the family fun day return to Manning's Amusements with a whole host of local craft and artisan market traders. All of the boutiques and street food outlets at Beach Street will be open too.

Open from 10am – 4pm

Rock N Roll Bank Holiday Monday:

This bank holiday Monday also sees an all day Rock N Roll party at The Grand. There are three bands and two DJs performing throughout the event, strolling and jive lessons and food will be served all day.

Open from 12pm – 10:30pm with £5 entry
