Two men arrested after drugs seized in Felixstowe town centre

Two men in connection with drug offences in Felixstowe, Suffolk police have today revealed.

Officers on patrol had cause to stop and search three males in Hamilton Road at around 5.45pm on Wednesday 6 May, and an amount of cannabis, cash and drug-related paraphernalia was seized.

Two of the men, aged 35 and 40, were detained and they were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and he was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.

The 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. He was also later released under investigation.

A third man, aged 49, was given a cannabis warning.
