In 1768, Captain James Cook departs from England, on his first voyage on board the Endeavour, bound for the Pacific Ocean. Cook explored thousands of miles across largely uncharted areas, including Pacific, Australia and New Zealand., surveying, recording and naming features for the first time, before being killed by natives in Hawaii.
