Stolen Bawdsey car among vehicles pulled out of Alton Water reservoir

Police are appealing for witnesses after three stolen vehicles were recovered from Alton Water Reservoir.

All three vehicles were taken with keys over a two-year period;

They were a white Fiat Scudo (reg:WN52 FRT) stolen on 21 November 2019 from Ferry Road, Bawdsey. (crime reference; 37/70355/19)

A blue Kia Sportage LA18 YKP was stolen on 15 April 2020 from Snape Road, Sudbourne. (37/21465/20)

And a black Ford KA WF60 WPN stolen on 26 April 2020 from Lodge Farm Lane, Melton (37/23193/20)

Police are appealing for information in relation to the thefts of the vehicles or the circumstances as to how the vehicles ended up in the reservoir.

Anyone has information or has dashcam footage or any other information that could possible help is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting the relevant crime number or Operation Neptune.
