A devastated parrot owner has call don residents in the Trimley area to be tuneful if they see her missing pers and lure them back into captivity.

Helen Beresford who lives in the High Road, Trimley was left as s sick as parrot when four of her birds flew away about aminth ago.

Two, Halo and Hydra ,have since returned home, but Merlin and Astra are still on the wing..

Merlin is described a dark green in colour with dark red tail feathers, while Astra is light green, with yellow and red plumage on her torso and light red tail feathers.

If anyone sees the parrots, Ms Beresford said that the easiest way to catch them is to lead the birds into their home.

To do this, she suggests using a mobile phone to play the birdsong of green-cheeked conures. This will encourage the birds to follow.

Both birds wear leg bands with Ms Beresford's phone number.

If you see them but are afraid of birds and will not be comfortable having them inside your homes contact Helen on 07961 290489.
