Retirement prompts closure of town chip shop and restaurant
A POPULAR fish and chip shop which has served Felixstowe for decades has closed down.
A notice on the door of the Orwell Fish Bar and Restaurant at 9-11 Orwell Road says its owners were "retiring due to family commitments".
It adds: "It is with regret we announce the closure of Orwell Fisheries with immediate effect.
"We will both be retiring due to family commitments."
