Scores of Ranelagh Road residents enjoyed a sun-soaked coronation street party in Felixstowe on Sunday.

Mayor Sharon Harkin, who will step down from her role this month, dropped by to have a chat, enjoy the buffet and even show her dance floor moves to the live music.

Residents brought food and drink to share and a tombola stall raised money in aid of Barnardo's charity. Special games were laid on for the large number of children who attended.

Main organiser Debs Lynch said the day had been a huge success.
