Suffolk radio legend Stephen 'Foz' Foster has launched a three day Pirate Radio Exhibition in Felixstowe.

Sporting a Radio Caroline shirt, as a nod to the pirate station he used to work on, Foz welcomed enthusiasts to Martello Tower P to the exhibition hosted by jointly by Felixstowe and Offshore Radio group,

with Chris Dannatt (Flashback 67/Pirate Memories), Ray Anderson and Chris Brisland.

Admission is free to the exhibition, which is open today and tomorrow (Sunday) between 12noon and 5pm.

The exhibition on two floors of the 200-year-old tower, is packed with displays, memorabilia, vintage radios, with volunteers on hand to field questions.

Organisers advise that the nearest parking is at Martello Park North Car Park, off Langer Road, and the First Bus route 77 Ipswich to Landguard Fort, Felixstowe has nearby stops to the railway station and to the tower.

Due to the age of the tower, now home to the National Coastwatch, entry to the exhibition is via wooden steps, with no disabled access.
