A five-year-old Felixstowe boy, fixated by Poundland lorries, has enjoyed seeing a wish come true by getting to ride in one of the iconic vehicles.
Freddie loves watching the Poundland lorries trundling in and out of the Port of Felixstowe near his home, and when the company found out they organised a trip for him and his parents to visit their distribution centre in Essex.
Hannah Martin, training manager in Harlow, said: "He came in and had a fantastic time. He was made up when he walked in, he was just so happy.
"It was a real dream come true for him He really loves his Poundland lorries."
Freddie who was 'honourable colleague' for the day, complete with Poundland name badge, was shown around the lorry and went home with a basket of goodies which included a toy truck, and a stress toy.
Hannah added: "We pulled a trailer onto our spare car park specially so Freddie could enjoy a good look around.
"One of the managers beeped the horn for him and he gave a huge smile. It was a really lovely moment."
"Freddie had an amazing day with us, we really enjoyed having him here. We didn't want him to go."
