Felixstowe motorists have been warned that they will need to find diversions to avoid the Orwell Bridge from next week.

This comes after National Highways confirmed the dates that the Orwell Bridge will be closed overnight until early December

Lane closures will be in place in both the eastbound and westbound carriageway from Monday, November 20 through to Saturday, November 25.

It will then be closed again from Monday, November 27, until Saturday, December 2. 

The closures are to allow National Highways to carry out inspections and surveys on the road. 

No diversion routes have yet been put in place.
