A new approach to working space is ready to open its doors on Hamilton Road in Felixstowe.

@Inc offers a space for people to work, meet, secure business support, and explore future business and employment opportunities.

The new hub is located at a former retail unit at 87 Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, and has undergone a transformation in recent weeks. Former changing rooms have redesigned into Zoom studios and the new site even appears to pay homage to the Port of Felixstowe by having a dock container on the main floor, as it happens, it's a space for private meeting and fully air-conditioned.

The offer of workspace and business support with @Inc is the brainchild of Alex Till, CEO of MENTA, a business support organisation based in Suffolk for more than thirty-seven years.

He said: "Following the successful launch of a similar property and business offer last year in Bury St Edmunds, I'm thrilled at the welcome we have received from across sectors in the Felixstowe business community - we open on Monday and will have co-working space, private meeting space for those looking to escape homeworking, we will aim to be a one-stop shop for business support, for established SMEs and those looking to move into self-employment".

Suzanne Banks is the project lead said:, "We have worked with some fabulous local businesses and contractors to get the space ready, and we have something truly different and exciting to offer all in business across Felixstowe and the wider area" The new co-working space is already being utilized with one worker normally based in Silicon Valley working with clients in Suffolk and another who has recently returned to Felixstowe from Australia.

Alex Till added: "The energy sites such as this generate -includes the opportunity to network and collaborate with differing sectors and range of experience".

As part of the Suffolk Inclusive Growth Investment Fund (SIGIF), MENTA are collaborating with a range of stakeholders and partners within the East Suffolk district to support new emerging and existing businesses, sole traders, freelancers, and micro businesses, offering an alternative to lone home working and collaborations in unique working facilities.

The new co-working and business support hub has membership and day user options, the site also will be offering private boardroom meeting space and has several events planned in the coming months.
