A 41-year-old man will have to wait more than a year for his case to be heard at Crown Court after denying assault in Felixstowe.

Alistair Hambling, of no fixed abode, today denied a charge of assaulting another man and occasioning actual bodily harm and has been told will face trial at Ipswich Crown Court in March next year.

Hambling pleaded not guilty of ABH on January 18 this year, and spoke only to confirm his personal details.

He was granted conditional bail and warned about non attendance to his trial before being released to appear on 6 March, 2023.
