Man arrested after allegedly exposing himself to woman near Felixstowe seafront

A 40-year-old man has been arrested by police in connection with an allegation of exposure near to the seafront in Felixstowe.

A woman complained to police after claiming a man had exposed himself to her as she was walking through the Felixstowe Seafront Gardens in Undercliff Road West on Tuesday at around 6.25am.

The victim states that as she was walking through the Felixstowe Seafront Gardens, she was passed by a man who was exposing himself.

Officers investigating this allegation arrested a 40-year-old man from Felixstowe on suspicion of exposure on Wednesday and are now appealing for witnesses.

The man was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently released under investigation.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information about this incident, is asked to Felixstowe Safer Neighbourhood Team, quoting reference: 61029/20.
