From ticketing to teas, grass cutting to guided tours, maintenance to marketing - the Landguard Peninsula at Felixstowe offers a wealth of volunteering opportunities.

Inside or outside… gain valuable conservation, heritage and tourism experience; meet new friends; reduce stress and improve your mental health; and stay active and physically fit. No previous experience required!

Come along to our Landguard Open Day on Saturday 18 March 2023 to learn more about what's on offer at Landguard Fort, Felixstowe Museum and the Landguard Nature Reserve.

Enjoy a cuppa and chat to our great team of friendly volunteers. There will also be some mini taster tours around the peninsula's attractions.

The Open Day runs from 1100-1500 and there is no admission charge. So, what have you got to lose? Get involved and help us make a big difference!

We look forward to seeing you at Landguard - it's a very special place.
