Two accidents have caused delays delays to motorists trying to get into Felixstowe this afternoon.

Delays were caused by a minor accident at around 6.pm this afternoon with queues forming at the junction between the A12 and A14 with long lines of traffic coming along Felixstowe Road from the Suffolk Show,

This was compounded by roadworks near the junction.

Meanwhile, a two-vehicle collision involving a lorry and a car in the eastbound carriageway near the Dock Spur roundabout at about 3.10pm today, Tuesday, May 31.

A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed that one lane of the carriageway was blocked. 

It was confirmed no one was injured in the collision
