NHS staff at hospitals in Felixstowe, Ipswich and Colchester have saved nearly 400 lives of patients with Covid-19 symptoms.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust confirmed another two dozen people had been discharged from their main hospitals at Ipswich and Colchester, and other community hospitals, including Felixstowe.

The 24 this week takes the total since the outbreak to 399 lives saved by HNS staff that look after this area.

Sadly, another seven people died at Ipswich hospital and another 10 at Colchester hospital, with all of the patients tested positive for coronavirus and all had underlying health conditions.

Trust chief executive Nick Hulme passed the ESNEFT's sympathies.
