Felixstowe's famed Wicker Family will be returned to their full Victorian glory next week after two of their members were beheaded.

Resort artist Tracy Barritt-Brown has vowed to have the family re-united in the Spa garden next week after an act of vandalism left the lady pushing a pram and another of the wicker sculptures decapitated.

Fortunately council gardeners found the heads and helped her reposition and straighten the family

Tracy said: "I am deeply grateful the heads were so quickly located by the council staff, who look after the gardens so diligently.

"The heads are safe with me now, and I will give them some TLC and reattach them next week."

The Wicker Family, which represent Victorian's enjoying a stroll along the seafront, was first put in place on Felixstowe's seafront gardens in 2016, and refreshed in 2021 but have been targeted by vandals before with the girl's arm damaged and her parasol stolen in the past.
