It was the change in status that gave it away when Felixstowe Radio daytime presenter Rob Dunger, swapped "in a relationship" to "engaged" on his Facebook profile.

Rob, known as the Dungerman subsequently announced after six years of going Dutch with his partner Mark, they are to enter a Civil Partnership in Amsterdam on September 30.

Brummie-born Rob and Dutch born Mark met each other in The Netherlands but even though they have not lived together, the couple have met once a month, alternating between Suffolk or across the North Sea on the continent.

Rob, who will continue to work at Felixstowe Radio in a job he loves, jokingly mentioned that the airline EasyJet should host a wedding reception for the couple.

He added: "We have been overwhelmed by all the messages of support and love."

You can hear Rob on his Felixstowe Radio show starting this morning at 11.00, until 13.00 on 107.5fm
