A van driver from the Felixstowe peninsula faces a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court after denying causing serious injury by dangerous driving on an A12 junction.

Barry Goody, aged 40, from Falkenham is alleged to have caused the victim serious injuries by driving a Ford Transit van dangerously at an A12 junction at Langham, near Colchester on February 10.

He denied the charge at a hearing at Colchester Magistrates' Court last week but was released on unconditional bail until a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 7.
