Felixstowe nurse recognised in Queen's Jubilee honours

A nurse from Felixstowe has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her services to the NHS.

Elizabeth Rebecca Gray, who works for the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, was named in the honours list last night.

Other's from Suffolk honoured with CBEs by the Queen include;

Zoë Ann Billingham, from Aldeburgh, lately H.M. Inspector, H.M. Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for public service.

Charlotte Elizabeth Young, from Woodbridge, the chair and trustee of the School for Social Entrepreneurs has been awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to social enterprise.

Daniel James Hardiman-McCartney., from Newmarket, a clinical adviser at the College of Optometrists has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to optometry. 

Faith Anne Rutterford, secretary to the commander of the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron, US Air Force based at RAF Mildenhall has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for public service.

Anthony Lambert Tyrrell Brown, from Beccles, and the chair of Suffolk Libraries has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to public libraries.

Patrick David Henry Church lately manager of Abbeygate Cinema in Bury St Edmunds has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the community in Suffolk.

Joanne Ogden-King, from Monewden, and a yoga teacher has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the community in Suffolk

While, Dr Ruth Rosemarie Beverley (Ruth May), from Nayland and the chief nursing officer for England, NHS England and NHS Improvement has been made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to nursing, midwifery, and the NHS.
