A picnicking Felixstowe mum had a pearler while out walking on Trimley beach with her family.

Rosanna Ivkovic came across a small pearl inside an partially open-end oyster shell just as she was about to go home after not having any joy in previous peeks.

The 32-year, mum of two was out on a family picnic when she stumbled across a pearl inside a half-opened oyster shell.

Rosanna took to social media to share her good fortune, which she plans to share with her daughter by adding the pearl to a ring for her.

She said: "I didn't quite believe it was there at first.

"I had to have a good look to realise it was a pearl.

"I thought it might have been a little stone or something, but it was an actual pearl. I felt very lucky."
