Felixstowe's 12 most positive stories for 2020

Felixstowe Nub News loves writing positive stories and you have provided us with plenty of opportunities to do just that.

Of course we have to write the not so good news stories, and we will never be afraid to scrutinise or call out those whose actions affect the people in Felixstowe and surrounding areas, and that includes local authorities, various leaders including MPs, councillors and anyone else that spends public money. We will look at those running community groups, charities and other organisations using our money.

But, we prefer the focus to be on those who have done great service, provoked a smile, or contributed in a positive way to our life on the Felixstowe peninsula. As you will see by the small selection, we have seen fund-raisers, key workers, and just good old fashioned feel good stories featured throughout an otherwise dismal 2020.

So, in no particular order, here are 12 positive peninsula stories for 2020, with links here to outstanding Felixstowe personalities, and the town's most read stories.
