A man from Felixstowe who died following a construction incident in Woodbridge has been named by police.

Subject to confirmation at formal inquest proceedings, the deceased person has now been formally identified as Dale Baker, aged 30, from Felixstowe.

Police were called at 4:30pm on Tuesday 15 December, to an address in Haughgate Close, where a man who was undertaking renovation work on a house was reported to have sustained serious injuries.

A number of other emergency services personnel were also in attendance, but the man sadly died at the scene.

A joint inquiry between detectives from the police Major Investigation Team and the Health and Safety Executive is continuing.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team on 101, quoting reference: 72620/20.

It is clear Dale was much loved and we plan to run a tribute page. Add your messages of condolences to [email protected]
