Felixstowe man jailed for burglary

A man has been jailed for three months for a burglary in Felixstowe.

46-year-old Mark Lewis of no fixed abode but from the Felixstowe area, was jailed at Ipswich Magistrates' Court last Thursday, 21 January, after pleading guilty.

Lewis was arrested on suspicion of burglary after a report of suspicious activity at a business premises on Walton Avenue in the town at about 5.15am on Wednesday 13 January.

He was subsequently charged with burglary and was remanded to appear before court where he pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to 12 weeks in jail.
