A Felixstowe man has been jailed for two years and banned from contacting the woman he assaulted for four years.

Jordan Wilson of Buregate Road, Felixstowe, who had admitted two charges of assault occasional actual bodily harm, was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court.

Wilson attacked the woman after accusing her of allowing his brother to touch her on the bottom. She suffered two broken fingers, bruising and a black eye after he slammed her arm with a door and hit her with shoes.

On a separate occasion he hit her in the face with a phone she was trying to use following a row, and threatened to kill her as he put a pillow over her face.

Wilson also spat on her when she was pregnant, posed beer over her head nd called her a 'slut', the court heard

Nicholas Bleaney, for Wilson, accepted his client's behaviour had been disgraceful and said he was genuinely remorseful.

He had been in custody for five months and had been diagnosed with a personality disorder.
