Felixstowe Job of the Week: Warehouse Supervisor - Nights

The UK's leading independent logistics and trade management provider is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Felixstowe on the night shift. Hours are 6pm - 6am, four nights on four nights off.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be there to effectively supervise staff and oversee operations in the absence of line manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor:

Supervise team members in duties and performance and assign workload.

Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.

Coaching all new team members in company standards, job duties and customer service.

Ensure that operations are compliant with health and safety policies.

Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.

Ensuring that staff's performance and development issues are handled appropriately.

Co-ordinate labour requirements in-line with workload.

Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained.

Skills required for the Warehouse Supervisor:

Previous bond / ETSF area management experience would be advantageous.

Understanding of logistics / warehousing.

Works to standard operating procedure.

Problem solving and analysis.

Deliver site compliance.

WMS experience.

IT literate.

Customer Focused.

Flexibility and adaptability.

Personal drive and self-motivated.

Team Player.
