Felixstowe golf pro misses British Open cut in Forgan conclusion

The dream is over for Felixstowe golf professional Sam Forgan after he failed to make the cut in the British Open today.
Forgan hit a round of seven over on the second day of the tournament at Royal St George's in Sandwich, Kent, and finished in 152nd place with an overall plus 10, at one points was two better than former masters champion Phil Nickelson, but it was not good enough to get near the top 70, which was needed to go into the weekend.
Forgan hit a 73 in the first round of the par 70 course, but his 77 this morning left him way off the leaders.
