Seasiders fans will be allowed to watch their team for the first time in nearly fives months, when Felixstowe & Walton United take on Leiston in a friendly tomorrow.

The Football Association confirmed earlier in the week that government guidelines restricting crowds attending matches were being eased and Felixstowe officials have been able to react swiftly to put the necessity protocols in place allowing fans into their Goldstar ground at Dellwood Avenue.

Supporters will be limited to a maximum of 200 on Saturday, and for the friendlies against Ipswich Wanderers on Tuesday and Stowmarket Town on Saturday August 29.

The limit will be increased to 400 supporters for the friendly versus Lowestoft Town on September 5 and for League and Cup matches until further notice following that date.

Supporters will have to give track and trace details at the turnstile and familiarise themselves with the the club's Covid risk assessment and includes details of entry and exit routes, bar and food details, one way systems, social distancing rules including seating arrangements.

Fans are encouraged to arrive in plenty of time for kick off so queues can be avoided and social distancing measures adhered to. To limit the cash handling at the turnstile entry for the Leiston game will be by donation in 'pay what you want' buckets.

Due to the limited numbers allowed supporters will be admitted on a first come, first served basis and the club reserves the right to deny entry to those arriving after capacity has been reached.
