Felixstowians and visitors took full advantage of the lull before the wind and rain swept in, to enjoy the resort's annual spectacular.

A convoy of lorries laden with a wide range of community groups made its through the town and along the seafront as the Felixstowe carnival 2023 attracted hundreds of people.

Waiting cross along the route were able to enjoy the wide range of venues offering shelter and refreshments, and there was plenty to do with live music at the marquee, the huge Booster ride, while the new activities centre was hugely popular.
